We Have To Share The Stars
when they planet we all live on
turns away from the sun
the bejeweled sky is there for us all to see
light from hundreds of years ago
echo onto us
and every one of us can look up
see a small bit of the universe in which all
is
a man cannot horde the stars all to himself
but
if he could
just like land
just like the food supply
just like wealth
he would
