art will live on

for every shot you take
another artist will rise
with invincible dreams

for every bomb you detonate
another heart too strong to be scared
will be born in the true image of god

no zealot has the faith of an artist
believing deeply in the soul
following passionately the righteous path

so go ahead and fire your guns
screaming at the top of your lungs for your fanatical beliefs
leaving bloodshed wherever you walk
but no matter how many you kill
the blood of art keeps pumping

long before your cause
there was art
