to have this moment back
years from now
as i recollect on this poem
on this night
it's insignificance shattered with reminiscence

tonight
i miss the days gone by
and years from now
i still will

tonight
i miss the loves i have lost
and years from now

but years from now
in so many ways i cannot possibly fathom at this moment
i will miss tonight
